Get ready to shimmy, shake and do the twist with Miss Jane Doe at this Go-go for beginners or Go-Go advanced. Classes are a weekly celebration of 60s music, dance, fashion and style.
Learn iconic 60s dance moves like the pony and the mashed potato as well as how to groove with wild abandon like those caged discotheque dancers of the Whisky A Go Go. Work up a sweat while learning how to shake a tail feather!
If you're more of a fan of disco, funk and soul, then Soul Training is the class for you! Learn iconic moves you see in Soultrain, Saturday night fever, Pans People. Giddy on down and learn how to bust out the Saturday Night Fever, Hustle with the best and learn the Bus Stop, the Bump and plenty more moves with Miss Jane! Who know's you may even master the infamous 'Clap'!
Learn to add some heat to your dancing in Latinesque class, combining some of Miss Jane Doe’s favorite Latin dance moves and styles with the art of tease. Incorporating traditional burlesque moves and traditional Latin moves such as the salsa and cha cha!
All classes offer the chance to perform in a student showcase at the end of the term, with amazing costumes to boot!
Plus, each term of class incorporates a bangin' new theme! Past themes have included Barbarella, Tina Tuner and the Ikettes, The Jackson Five, Beach Party, 60's Bollywood and Ye-Ye.
